The majority of robot vacuum and mop combinations can be customized with a specialized application. You can save maps of your home and create cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power and the amount of water your mop consumes.

A mapping function can help your robot vacuum cleaners best navigate through rooms. An obstacle avoidance feature will stop it from running into furniture, wires or other toys. These features are essential for my home, which is full of toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the top-of-the-line vacuum and mop, is loaded with features. It's able to sweep and mop in one session and can raise its mop pads and brushes to stop soft surfaces from becoming too wet. It also has the ability to see and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to identify pet toys, plants and other small objects.

The robotic vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is higher than any other robot vac we've tested to date. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation, which tracks its location, which prevents it from getting stuck on objects.

The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad at over 6 Newtons for a thorough clean. It also features an automatic vacuum cleaner and mop mop lifting system that will raise the pad when it goes from laminate to tile, hardwood to carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding getting soaked by these soft surfaces.

In addition to this in addition, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying functions. The pad is capable of rinsing and drying in the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. You can set it up and forget about it. You will only need to refill the water tank, or replace the dust bag occasionally.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual mop- and vac-settings for around 160 minutes before beginning to run out of power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This is not far off of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is in line with other hybrids I've tried.

This is a highly complete and robust product, with the only downside being the fact that it's costly. The sheer amount of features makes it a very attractive option for anyone who is looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. If you are able to justify the price, we highly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line robot hoover and mop vacuum and mop combo. The high price is justified by the robust features, such as a huge vacuuming capability, as well as two mop heads that gyrate. It also includes a smart, app-enabled controller and powerful obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop sets available, at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it was able to perform very well in all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of the debris on all types of floors and able to lift long hair with no knots. The mops were also excellent in delivering outstanding cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models due to their rotational motion and an incredibly strong cleaning solution.

The docking station is the primary selling aspect of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and sophisticated. The dock emptys its dust bin into a dirt bag, refills its water tank to enable the mopping function and even dry the mop pads for you. It has a real-time hazards detection system, and its sophisticated controls let you schedule periodic cleaning sessions.

The L10S Ultra does not offer better performance for removing carpet debris when compared to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tried. The mops on the L10S Ultra are not as effective at removing stubborn staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

In spite of the L10S Ultra's high-end features, it still requires regular care and maintenance. To prevent the growth of mildew or unpleasant odors, the base station dustbag, water, and tanks need to be cleaned regularly, emptied, and dried. The mop pads that are sold separately will also require replacement every few months.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the funds. If you're looking to save money, I recommend a more basic model that will allow you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. It's worth noting that even if the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum and mop you can buy however, its cost and maintenance costs will eventually make it more of a want rather than a requirement.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you require to get rid of messes and remove dirt from your floors. This high-powered mop and robovac combo packs an impressive suction power of 8,000 Pa and a huge battery capacity for mopping and vacuuming and top-quality obstacle avoidance. It even has a roller mop that cleans itself while moving and makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that require users to return to their base station mid-cleaning to rinse off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads that are found on other robots. The roller is almost full width of the bot and is continuously dosed with clean, ozonated water from its dock. As it rotates the roller, it scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station, which is then sucked up by the tank's heating elements, and is poured into a larger storage container. The onboard tank holds plenty of water, and it can manage about a dozen mopping sessions before running dry.

Like many robotic vacuums and mop sets, the S1 Pro is ready to roll out from the box. The S1 Pro needs to be filled with clean water. This is easily done in the cleaning dock. If you want to use your own cleaner you can include a cleaning solution to the dock. However, if you do opt for this feature you'll have to purchase the brand-name cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your own cleaning products.

Like most robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was quick to map a area and was able to navigate around furniture. It sat on carpets with thick piles a few times during my tests. However this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides a lot of functionality at affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's basic mop and vacuum, but it has some outstanding features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, while washing and sanitizing mop pads as it goes. The mopping system is able to sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's extreme suction is perfect for picking up pet hair and debris on carpets.

The software that runs the appliance is quite dense, and offers a variety of options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually clean the entire area that are mapped by this device, or select specific rooms, expandable zone, or a routine you've created. There are several mopping options that include SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the sensors of the mops to find the most efficient way to tidy your home as it maps the space.

Like all the Roborock models we've tested like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system is efficient by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning in an organized manner. Its "Normal" pathing option covers an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance function works well too, but it's not as sophisticated as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like thick carpets but may not be able recognize smaller items such as rug tassels and electrical wires.

This machine has one major issue: it doesn't include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple solution: the app offers the option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. The vacuum's mopping capabilities to remove the dust and dirt that are left behind after vacuuming. This is a great feature that helps this robot to clean up a bit better than its less expensive competitors.
