It also features an automatic mop lifting system, which will lift the pad when it goes from laminate to tile hardwood, carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding soaking these types of soft surfaces.

Additionally in addition, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying functions. The pad is capable of rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. This means that you can leave it in place and forget it, only having to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank every now and then.

This is a highly complete and robust product, with the only drawback being that it's expensive. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a appealing choice for anyone looking to go away from their old stick vacuum and mop. We highly recommend this vacuum when you can justify its cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. The price is justified by its robust features, such as a huge vacuuming capability and two mop heads that gyrate. It also comes with an app-based controller that is smart and a powerful obstacle avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop sets available, at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it did well in all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of debris from all floors and managing to lift hair that is long without tangling. The mops were also excellent in delivering outstanding cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models, thanks to their rotational motion as well as an incredibly strong cleaning solution.

The docking station is the real selling aspect of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and advanced. The dock emptys its dustbin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank to enable mopping and dry the mop pads for you. It also has an in-real-time system for detecting hazards and lets you schedule regular cleaning sessions using its smart controls.

Contrary to the other hybrid mops that I tested The L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris removal on carpets. In addition, its mops aren't as capable at scrubbing away tough stains like those in the top Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features, it still requires regular maintenance. To prevent the growth of mildew or unpleasant odors, the base unit dustbag, water, and tanks must be cleaned and emptied regularly. They also need to be dried. It is also important to note that the mop pads which are purchased separately, must be replaced on a regular basis too.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. For those who are on a smaller budget, I would suggest a less basic model that will allow you to save money while enjoying the convenience of hands-free cleaning at your home. It's important to remember that even if the L10S Ultra is the best robotic vacuum and mop combination you can buy, its high purchase price and ongoing maintenance will eventually make it more of a desire than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robot mop and autonomous vacuum that will remove dust and dirt on your floors while taking care of wet mess look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop combo is a mighty suction capacity of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts a huge battery capacity that can be used for both vacuuming as well as mowing. It is also equipped with an excellent obstacle-avoidance system. It also comes with mop rollers that clean itself while moving, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that require users to return to their base station mid-clean in order to clean the mop's pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots. As with most robots, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was quick to map a space and moved around furniture. The only issue is that it got stuck a few times on larger pile carpets and rugs during my testing however this can be improved as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very robust robot hoover and mop that is available at an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry level mop and vacuum cleaner but it does have some outstanding features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag, filling its water tanks, and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system is able to sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is great for picking up pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.

The application that runs the appliance is quite dense, and offers many options for customizing the cleaning process. You can manually clean all areas that are mapped by this device, or select individual rooms, expandable zone, or a routine you've developed. There are many mopping options that include SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the sensors on the mops to determine the most efficient method to tidy your home as it maps the area.

The Qrevo did well in our tests, just like the other Roborock models we've test. Its navigation system performs well in locating rooms quickly and cleaning them in a well-organized way. The 'Normal' setting for pathing does a great job of covering a room, leaving no gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well, however it is not as advanced as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify dangers like thick carpets, but it may not always detect small things like rug tassels, or electrical wires.

The one glaring flaw of this machine is the lack of a mop-after-vacuum option which could be a problem for those who spend a lot of time vacuuming prior to cleaning robot mop and vacuum with their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple workaround: the app includes an option to "clean up" at the end of each session. You can make use of the mopping features of the vacuum to get rid of the dust and traces that remained after vacuuming. This is a nice feature that lets this vacuum clean a little better than its competitors with lower prices.
