The robot automatic vacuum cleaner and mop has a suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is more than any other robot vacuum we've tested to date. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation, which tracks its location, which prevents it from getting stuck on objects.

The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can apply constant pressure to the pad at over 6 Newtons to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has mop lifter technology which lifts the pad automatically when it changes between tile and laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs, to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.

Additionally, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be rinsing and drying in the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. This means you can just leave it in place and forget it, only needing to change the dust bag or refill the water tank occasionally.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its normal mop and vac-settings for around 160 minutes before it started to run out of power and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far off of the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is comparable with other hybrids that I've tried.

It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only downside is that it's expensive. Its sheer number of features makes it an appealing choice for anyone who is looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. We would highly recommend this vacuum if you can justify its cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop combo. The price is justified by its robust features, which include a massive vacuuming capability, as well as two mop heads that rotate. It also comes with an app-enabled smart control system and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is among the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combos available. In my tests, it performed admirably throughout the house. It was able to eliminate 98.4 percent of debris from all kinds of floors and managed to lift long hair without tangling. In spite of the L10S Ultra's high-end features, it still requires regular maintenance and care. To avoid mildew and unpleasant odors, the base unit dustbag, water and tanks must be cleaned and emptied regularly. They also need to be dried. The mop pads sold separately will also require replacement every few months.

With the L10S Ultra's high-end price tag and extensive functionality, I would recommend it to anyone who has the budget for it. If you're on a budget I suggest a more basic model that allows you to save money while still being able to enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. Even it were the case that the L10S Ultra was the best robot mop and vacuum you could find but its price and ongoing maintenance will make it seem more a want than need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you need to clean up messes and get rid of dirt from your hard floors. This powerful robovac/mop combo comes with a powerful suction capacity of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts a large battery capacity that can be used for both mopping and vacuuming. And it is equipped with a top-notch obstacle-avoidance system. It comes with a roller-mop that cleans by itself and makes it stand out from models that require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots. The roller covers the entire width of the robot, and it is supplied with a continuous supply of clean Ozonated, filtered water from the dock. As it rotates the roller, it scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then dumps the dirty mop water into its base station which is then sucked up by the tank's heating elements before being dumped into a larger storage container. The onboard tank can hold a substantial amount of water, and can take on up to a dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box as do most robotic vacuums/mops. The S1 Pro needs to be refilled with clean water. This is easily done using the cleaning dock. If you'd like to make use of your own cleaner you can add a cleaning solution to the dock. If you opt for this option, however, you will be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot brands that allow users to select their own choice of cleaners.

As with most robots, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was fast to map a room, and it was able to navigate through furniture. The only issue is that it got stuck a couple times on larger pile carpets and rugs during my testing however this can be rectified when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that offers a lot of functionality at an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's basic mop and vacuum, but it still has some amazing features. Its multi-function dock drains the robot's dirtbag and refills its water tanks, washing and sanitizing mop pads as they go. The mopping system can be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock. The vacuum's extreme suction is great for picking up pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.

The app that runs the appliance is quite complex, and offers various options to customize the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start a full map and clear everything that's been that is mapped by the device or you can choose particular rooms, expandable zones or even a schedule you've created. There are several mopping options, including SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the sensors on the mops to find the most efficient method to clean your home as it maps the space.

Like all the Roborock models we've tested The Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system is robust, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a systematic way. The 'Normal' setting for pathing does a great job of covering a room, leaving no major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well too, but it's not as advanced as color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can spot hazards such as thick carpets however it won't always be able to detect smaller items like rug tassels, or electrical wires.

This device has a major problem: it doesn't include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who regularly vacuum before using their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple solution: the app offers an option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. This lets you utilize the mopping feature of the vacuum to get rid of the last traces of debris and dust that are left behind by the vacuuming. It's a nice touch and helps this robot make its clean better than its cheaper rivals.
