The S1 also did a great job of cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on the flat side against the floor and then lifting itself when it was near carpet or carpet.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up large and small particles from hard floors as well as carpets.
