World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

Upgrades to items give players the possibility of upgrading equipment that they already have. This can be done through any item upgrader NPC.

Generally upgrades increase an items main stat and give it additional benefits based on the type. Examples include Whistan's shield for FB sorcs or Goldwrap for build casters.

Armour

Armour is one of the main factors that keep Link safe from harm in all situations. While it cannot be upgraded like weapons, it can be improved in different ways to increase its defence capabilities.

The principle of armour is to shield a person or animal from harm or injury, either from direct physical attack or an array of dangers posed by the environment and activities. Historically, armour was mostly made from fabric or leather, but later metal protections were also utilized for military purposes, particularly like heavy cavalry and combat drones.

There are many ways to upgrade armour however the majority require you to visit one of four Great Fairy Fountains scattered throughout Hyrule. Each fountain has a distinct level of upgrade, with higher levels of protection requiring more rupees and other materials.

Most utility items provide an effect that the player can activate by using them, but some have additional abilities that are activated when the user presses the button or activates the ability.

The Flashlight is the most popular utility item. It lights up the area around it. Other items of utility include the Helicopter Hat and Rocket Boots, which allow players to fly in the air while moving and the Jetpack which allows the player to accelerate in any direction while on the ground. Players can unlock more powerful utility items in addition to those they have in their usual inventory by purchasing them at the Atomic Shop or from seasonal Scoreboard rewards. Some of these items can be upgraded to increase their effectiveness.
