Components

Upgrade components are the things that can make your weapons and armor more effective. You can get them from destroying enemies, finding them in spheres of items or buying them from karma merchants. Sets

A set is a set of items that all share the same bonus. Each item can be upgraded at the least once. The upgrade increases the amount of bonuses you can expect to receive. The first time you upgrade the set piece or weapon is that it will be given an increase of +1 to its primary stat.
