If you opt for this option, however, you will be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution, which is more costly than other robot brands, allowing you to use your choice of cleaning solutions.

As with most robots, the S1 Pro did well in accuracy in navigation and coverage tests. It was quick to map a room and it easily navigated around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a few times on carpets with longer piles and rugs during my tests however this could be rectified when the software is upgraded. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides lots of features at affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's basic mop and vacuum. However, it has some outstanding features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot cleaner with mop's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks, and washing and sanitizing mop pads is done by the dock. The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning a large portion of an area before it needs to return to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction does a nice job of removing debris and pet hair from carpets.

The application that runs the appliance is quite complex, with a broad variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can clean manually the entire area that are mapped by this device, or choose individual rooms, an expandable zone or a routine you've developed. There are a number of mopping options that include SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the sensors on the mops to determine the most efficient method to clean your home as it maps the area.

The Qrevo performed well in our tests, just like all the Roborock models we've evaluated. Its navigation system is efficient in locating rooms quickly and cleaning them in a well-organized way. Its 'Normal" pathing setting covers an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well, but it's not as advanced as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify dangers like thick carpets, but it may not always be able to detect smaller items like rug tassels, or electrical wires.

This device has a major flaw: it does not have a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum a lot before using their robot. There's a simple solution: the app offers a feature that lets you "clean up" at the conclusion of every vacuuming session.
